Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): My current characters over on Wizden are Katie Orben and Arielle Winter. Katie is a dedicated and hard working engineer who I intend to have the vibes of an experienced and skilled but chilled out and relaxed mechanical professional. The kind of person who doesn't really seem like she could handle being Chief Engineer until you see her in an emergency and she immediately takes control.
Winter I play as a more timid, go-with-the-flow character, although recent experiences in Security made me change her personality in my head to a more grizzled kind of vibe but I'm not sure I'll stick with that. She's always looking to help anyone, anytime, however she can and always eager to learn more about the world around her and what keeps the station working, happy, and healthy.
What made you join Funky Station?: In what seems to be a rare occurrence I actually really like Wizden overall but I've wanted a better MRP experience for a long time regardless. Mander is consistent lowpop (seems to be getting up into midpop now which is cool to see) and every other MRP server I found had massive changes from the game that I'd gotten used to and enjoy. Funky seemed to be an MRP server without many changes to the "base" game, and though I quickly learned that wasn't really the case I also learned about Forky and the design philosophy of Funky and felt that it matches what I want out of this game nearly 1:1.
