Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Kelvin Frost, a human born on a frozen world with limited ressources, he was taught a variety of life skills and always understood the necessity of helping others. Despite the name, he's warm and friendly, sometimes annoyingly so. Since he never got used to heat above 25c, he tends to enjoy jobs in space stations where the temperatures are more enjoyable and his skills in dangerous environments are valued. When things go wrong, he always try to find improvised solutions with what's on hand and lead the way to safety, as he was taught to do to survive blizzards.
What made you join Funky Station?: I wanted a server where roleplay interactions are the bulk of the fun without it being HRP either. There's nothing wrong with enjoying SS14 mechanically as people do on LRP, I certainly do (and I'm excited about the things that funky has I liked on goob in that regard, like surgery) but I want a place where I can indulge in actual medium roleplay more often and sincerely, without fear of it being ruined because no one plays along or people overoptimized the fun out and I heard great things about the community and metashielding rules on here.
