Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I am often called "the man of a thousand characters" by my hypothetical friends. Jokes aside, I'd like to keep a rotating roster of interesting characters to keep things varied, so I'll invent one right now. His name is Simonides Sartre, a Moth. (I usually play human, I'm trying to branch out.) Simonides works in Engineering and Science and is a true intellectual at heart. He's self absorbed, speaks eloquently, and always overexplains in an effort to sound smart, but he's also open minded to a fault, willing to risk life and limb due to curiosity. He's also an artist as a hobby, and will seek to create in his free time (which could also make for a really fun villain personality when I roll antag). This rather basic description can evolve over time, I'm a firm believer in the capacity for improv to develop characters.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I've been stuck on Wizden for like 400 hours but some recent frustrating rounds have made we want to branch out into something with far better roleplay. Literally everyone on the SS14 subreddit glazes Funky as the place to be for roleplay, so I'd like to partake in that if you'll have me.
