Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I've got a few!
Orsemeh Liroch, a 27-year old Protector Aasimar dedicated to studying magic and oddities in the world. He was ousted from his hometown, as angels were invading the plane to cleanse it of all life. Since he is an Aasimar, and they're related to angels... well, people were a bit cautious. Orsemeh went on a journey to try and figure out what was going on, learning about the weave (magic) along the way.
Click, a curse-bound Kenku who is searching for two things: his parents who disappeared with a heavy magical trace being left behind, and a cure to the curse that plagues his race. Some might say he's a bit obsessive with learning about curses, but to him, he's just trying to learn about the world around him through the only lens he has ever seen through.
Lantau Zairoh, a troll from a Homestuck-based text TTRPG who was artificially created to become the figurehead of a planetary revolution. His life was destined to be a struggle. Between his unstable genetics and the shadowy political figures manipulating his life, he's had to fight to figure out who he is and what is place in life is, contrary to what he was created to be.
Ace Herald, a mothperson who fled from his home planet in an attempt to escape war. A fledgling scientist who was raised by an adoptive grandmother, all Ace wants to do is discover new research and work on cutting-edge technology -- an interest he picked up from his adoptive grandmother. He's been brought back to life more times than he can count, thanks to the medics on the various NanoTrasen ships that he has worked on, but the revivals themselves were necessitated by the hazardous working conditions on those very ships.
What made you join Funky Station?: I have some friends who play on this server and I'd like to play with them. They've also told me that the vibes are pretty good here. I like good vibes, but then again, I don't know anyone who doesn't.
