Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I'll give two example since I love yapping about it.
Some of the most fun I've had in the recent 2 years was roleplaying a VERY inept little brown lizard. It took me a handful of rounds to understand where the limit was drawn between 'funny and cool to interact with' and 'please stop being stupid', and equally when 'please stop being stupid' was insanely out of character for him. Overall, it was a great learning and roleplaying experience. I highly recommend being stupid.
One of my older characters, and the one that really got me solidly into SS13 roleplaying, was a secoff. While I won't praise them for their story building (oh my god they were SO BORING), playing security really gave me a enjoyable split between action and roleplay. I think more than anything I just enjoyed the comradery roleplay between secoffs, being called the same rude names over commons really gets a group of people to bond together.
Overall though, I just really love interacting and building in fun and interesting ways, regardless of who I'm playing. Not everything has to make sense, stupid fun is fun too.
What made you join Funky Station?: Played SS13 for a looong time, looking to get into SS14 RP as well! Heard generally good things abt the Funky community, and some Minefino videos certainly pushed me to actually apply.
