Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I enjoy playing characters with gimmicks that aren't for the sake of being a gimmick, but instead to be used for roleplay, some examples include:
A delegate of a town under megacorporation control who "SPEAKS LIKE THIIIIISSSS!!!!" and is insistent of being ruler.
A mute homeless person doped on drugs convinced they're a psionic.
A dissident intent on saving the world with the power of Hip-hop.
A vampire hunter, even though vampires went extinct millennia ago, and so they interrogate the innocent on the suspicion of their paranoia.
A person convinced they are in an rpg game, and obnoxiously talking about their "Charisma" and "Luck" stats.
And, the majority of my characters I play; normal people that have somewhat of a personality
some of these may be too meta, and I will adjust how I come up with gimmicks to fit into the realm of the game's rules. I tend to make my characters based around the media I consume, such as the novels by Phillip K. Dick, and the music I listen to. I have a strong hatred for Mary Sue characters and will NEVER roleplay as one.
What made you join Funky Station?: All the other ss14 servers I find myself in are full of shallow, uninteresting people that don't tend to make a character of themselves. I am applying to this server in the hope that I can find a genuine roleplay experience that also doesn't make me wonder if what I'm doing is going to get me banned for doing something for the sake of roleplay.
