HFR can be a 1k speso money printing powerhouse if run correctly and even higher
First of all, the HFR’s main function is NOT a power generator but instead is referred to as a “pseudo engine” so PLEASE do not run it unless you have excess power.
So what makes HFR so simple? Well, there’s a few things to consider
-Healium
When HFR is at fusion 5-6 healium stops HFR from going below 56 percent entirely and consumes major volumes of itself when below, simple as (5k moles suggested to run it per hour) however, you can entirely skip this step if you want to run it in short bursts
-Cooling
The main way you turn HFR off simply because room temp gas and 1 million kelvin gas is quite a difference
(to set up cooling, place a pipe under one of the shielding exiting the core to a gas miner preferably plasma bc high heat cap, also remember a pressure relief valve into space so you can continuously cycle the heated plasma)
-Heating conductor & damper
Rule of thumb is, max damper more cooling, max damper and heating conductor even MORE cooling, how? Idk science man ig
Fusion level & heat are linked
Useful fact to know:
-Fusion 5-6 is 100,000-1,000,000
-Fusion 0-1 is 0-500
Now we know how to stop it from blowing up, let’s talk gasses. Now the only recipe I have experience with is trit/hydro so let’s talk about it, before we start your gonna need around 2k moles of both gasses, also I’m gonna refer to fuel injection rate as FIR

1.
Now you have trit hydro (and possibly healium) we can place a mixer linking into fuel and get the ratio close to 50/50 as possible.

Turn the HFR on and max FIR and heating conductor to help increase temp

Once there’s around 1k moles of each gas, set FIR to 0.1 and max damper to get out of fusion 6
4.
Once your in fusion 5 your in the sweet spot, keep flipping damper and minimise heating conductor to stay in fusion 5
An important function of HFR is antinob, (Expensive 10 speso per mol gas)
Is automatically output into waste at fusion 5
5.
Turn off fuel injection and max FIR to start burning fuel into helium, more helium equals more antinob production
6.
Set fuel injection to 0.1 only so many reactions can happen in HFR at once so we want antinob reaction to be priority
7.
Once HFR gets considerably low integrity, set healium input to 3 and turn it on to stall it for longer
8.
And finally, to turn it off max damper and heating conductor and start cycling coolant and your done.
Is HFR broken or overpowered? Nah, sounds like a cargo depth problem
