I enjoy silly critters the most, I have an autistic crow detective who always tries to find the most roundabout or purely vibes based path to his breakthroughs, missing the painfully obvious often only to bring it back in a befuddling way at the end.
A spider who will gloat about their NTarcade high scores and lives entirely off of vending machine food and bad habbits, jumping around at max energy for 10 hours straight before crashing down and wondering why their stomach hurts...
Those types of personalities fit the best for ss13/14 cause of the slapstick and cartoonish nature of the games, so I gravitate towards them but I do have some more serious characters like my scrapheap IPC who if I start talking about I will end up writing five pages about so to try and make it as brief as I can:
She's a trans allegory, a questioning of what makes someone sentient, the importance of self actualization and after watching battlestar galactica I realized that on a ss13 shipfork server I accidentally ended up going through Starbucks exact character arcs one by one before ever even having heard of the show.

On a more serious note, I've played an unhealthy amount of ss13 and the well has dried up on that front, every other ss14 server I've tried so far has been either really middling in rp or really mechanically unsatisfying and from everything I can tell this one has some promise on both fronts so I'm hoping that's the case.
