One of my favorite characters I've roleplayed in anything was in Changeling: The Dreaming. I was playing sort of faerie that is often a storyteller, with subtypes for freedom of movement and freedom of information. She had an unnatural draw to her and a presence that made others calm and trusting. Before the events of the game she had found a place in the forest where she founded a commune, and used the influence gained from being the founder of a holding to work up to marriage with her now wife., joining into the noble house of Fiona. From there she became enthralled in court politics, and known as something of an information broker. She was always as polite as she could be, considering her words carefully but without hesitation, further gaining trust and information. During the actual game she was always curious but avoided being so visibly, accepting a "quest" from the duke of the area to investigate some strange happenings, at some point meeting a member of a secretive order of mages that wished to know of faeries, and sharing in exchange for limited information of said mages. There was a fun moment in getting the mage to trust she wasn't just a normal human by kinda teleporting a monocle from his pocket to her hand in front of him. The game ended in a very fun moment with her and the duke going back and forth in different ways basically saying "No thank you"
What made me want to join funky station is mostly hearing of the nice rp environment, and of the themes of corruption and crew against command/sec being emphasized.
