Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): I have many characters, however the one I have enjoyed playing in particular recently is a Kitsune on the Delta V servers known as Chiyo Tanaka. When you first meet Chiyo she comes off as cold, snappy and uncaring, she doesn't really spend a lot of time with others, being more focused on her work and even then those she seems to hang out with, she teases relentlessly as if bullying them, however, this is all in good faith. Chiyo only ever teases the people she actually likes, She never means any of the insults she throws their way and will sometimes sit down with them and clear things up with them if she thinks they feel hurt by her words as well as scale them back a bit.
She has often times now been a source of comfort for her fiends and she is fiercely loyal towards them, often times putting herself in danger so they can escape when things are looking rough.
Chiyo herself has had a rather rough life, being 128 years old, though marked as 28 years of age by nanotrasen due to limitations on their records keeping.
She had to leave her home when she was 15 years of age due to her home becoming unsafe for her and she ended up in a Visual Kei girl group, performing in clubs and bars for money with two other girls.
Eventually, Chiyo saved enough money to help herself through college and took the leap, continuing to work as well as study, a hard balance.
She eventually left the girl group and along the way entered a polycule with two humans by the name of Logan and Valoren.
She loved them both dearly and they stayed together until Logan and Valoren passed away from old age, Chiyo being their source of comfort as they passed.
Due to this, she hates it when people pet her, as that is what they did as they were passing and it brings a lot of painful memories back for her.
Chiyo had entered the service industry again and started working, usually as a bartender as she went to university again to learn how to be a nurse, wanting to learn how to extend the life of humans or any species for that matter in an effort to not have to experience the pain the grief she had gone through again.
She was then picked up by Nanotrasen due to her numerous qualifications and got her signing quite a lot of contracts for part time jobs.
Since then, Chiyo has been working under NT as many different roles but is always willing to learn new things.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I watched a few youtube videos of someone who plays within Funky Station, it looked interesting and I have been wanting a change of scenery sometimes, having been floating between Delta, Frontier, Monolith, Omu and a new server, Jamboree, but sometimes I just want a change.
