What lead up to the ban: Im not sure what happened and what this is about? All i know is i had an OOC argument with a friend of mine about something IG? He did something i heavily disagreed with ingame so i got mad at him about it OOC and used some common slurs. (IN GAME DESCRIPTION OF SITUATION) He killed my pet space carp as a borg after i repeatedly told him not to, he then threw the body into outer space. Which i found very nonsensical and found that he would have to listen to the commands of a QM. So then i got mad at him OOC and used some slurs that are very common in the Netherlands. Slurs are something that happens when you argue about something. It was also not even in the game itself or in the game server itself. It was in a private groupchat with me, the person and some other friends. So im not sure what the issue is.

Why you should be unbanned: I dont necessarily know what this is about? But i think its about the situation i described above. I find that i was in my right to get mad at him and use some common slurs because thats what you do when your mad and in a argument. I dont understand what a personal conversation has to do with a game. I find it utter nonsense that i cant have a argument with someone about what they did and that it has reprocutions about something in game.

However i do understand that i was in the wrong for using the slurs i used, but i didnt know that it would get me banned in the game. I do understand i should have used more light words. But like i said i didnt know it would have reprocutions in the game itself if i have a overly agressive (i was in the wrong i know) argument with a friend. I understand it is completely my fault that i let my rage speak for me, however i hope that you can see that i did not mean harm. I understand the need if you have to ban me, but please dont perma-ban me. I spend alot of time in the game and i really like it. This should be more of a personal issue and not have anything to do with the game. I shall try to make it up to the person whom i had the argument with and i hope you can forgive me and possibly shorten/remove the ban.

In a vote of 4/0/7 (deny/accept/other), with 2 other votes being a voucher ban and 5 being an indefinite gameban the admin team has voted to Indefinitely ban you from the game. This means that you are not able to appeal this ban.

As a team we take Out Of Character toxicity very seriously, this applies in in-game channels like help, OOC and ghost chat, our discord channels, but also private messages between our players. If a member of our community privately messages another member to complain about their actions in a round, that falls under OOC toxicity.

In many of these cases we can understand that emotions can get the better of us, and as a team like to work with our players to ensure this doesn't happen again. However due to your use of homophobic & other slurs in the altercation, as well as you defending using these slurs as: "that's what you do when your mad and in an argument.", we have decided that you will not be welcomed back to Funky.

To reiterate, you are permanently banned. You are not able to appeal this ban.
