How old are you?
Approximately 27

Have you read the requirements, and ensured you meet them?
Yep yep

How many hours do you have on Funky?
1k+

Have you helped with whitelists before, or played Nanotrasen Career Trainer on New Player Weekend? Please elaborate on which one.
Yep! I was part of the initial whitelist help and have been teaching people since I joined the server. I even taught a bunch of people before they came to funky including current admins IIRC.

What tips you off that a player might be a good fit for Funky, if anything?
Putting in an effort to learn about the server and it's culture is the biggest one. After that its a lot about them writing in a way that is understandable and matches our culture.

Have you ever had an interesting or fun experience helping a new player? If so, tell us about it.
Literaly every time I get to teach a new player its fun. When they come back later to ask more questions, thank me, or the like its the best feeling!

How do you like to teach interns or new players, if at all?
Depends on the role and medium. Recording videos and making spreadsheets are my favorite for off-game, in game it can be anything from pointing out what they should focus on if overwhelmed while giving a general overview, to throwing them in the (usually surgical) deep end and give them feedback as they work to help them get over the "this is going to be too advanced" thoughts.

What areas of the game would you say are your strong suit, if any?
Anything that isn't cooking, my recipe memory is dedicated to chems, not pies.

What is your favorite department? Why is it your favorite department?
I love them all, but I have the most time in medical.

Tell us a fun fact you know about the game. The more niche, the better.
You will get 7!
:gocrazy: You can repeatedly close and open a shocked door as AI to permanently CC a person without insuls till they die, then keep going... It doesn't even require
:do: I am the reason SOP about necromancy exists in chemist SOP
:gosad: BC knives don't count as slicing tools, and as such cant open Weh! plushies and the like
:godo: You can keybind the ability to rotate objects
:godo: Saline and DD make the best filler-chems to balance out an IV/cryopod. They both count as drinks and so are ingested separately from chems
:godover: Zombie infection detection doesn't actually work based off of internals, its the same detection as surgery where the mask just has to be "on" (even if its pulled down)
:do: Insuls aren't required to open electric fence gates. Using E from a range bypasses the check...

Tell us about a roleplay moment you fondly remember.
As clown I sometimes have B&E bit where I break into various rooms across the station to pretend like im supposed to be there. Nothing malicious ofc, just clowning around, making sure HoP is always kept up to date on where I am. On one of these occasions despite breaking into security post round the secoffs who were malding hard noted that my break ins and assistance I gave them between them where apparently the only thing that kept their spirits up OOC during the shift. I believe "light in the darkness" was used.

Are you committed to keeping up with mechanics changes and learning them so you may teach new players, and presenting a friendly, helpful face in our community?
Im one of the people writing the design docs :godo:

Are you willing to assist admins with whitelists by helping look over and pre-approve them?
Already have done so, and am happy to do so again
