Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing:
The character I enjoy playing most is Charles Hoggins. He is a Male Human approximately 25 years of age. Ever since Charles was just a child, he grew up around Nanotrasen. He had always aspired to someday join NT’s workforce to assist in some way in one of the many stations. His Father served many years as the Head of Security for a security force, before he was unfortunately killed by a nuclear operative when attempting to defend the station. Charles has always aspired to be like his father and decided to join NT as a security cadet. From there his career flourished, and he now has approximately 620 hours clocked in the security department serving various security roles for NT. When Charles isn’t working for a security department, he tends to enjoy spending his time salvaging for the station, ensuring the people of Nanotrasen are well equipped to perform their daily duties. Charles goals have always been to resist things that oppose the station, along with ensuring that all station departments are able to properly function.
What made you join Funky Station: I have been a SS14 Wizden main ever since I started playing the game around May of 2024. I have accumulated approximately 800 hours of playtime, primarily as a Sec. I love the server and the community, as well as helping new players that join it. Given all the recent drama surrounding Wizden, I figure its time to expand out and explore other servers. I heard Funky station had moved to the new auth launcher and had a free player weekend last weekend, so I joined to check it out. I only observed as a ghost, but I watched the HOS (Shout out to Thane Serven(something)) who provided very enjoyable roleplaying and leadership experience to spectate. I think it would be very cool to be able to step into a more immersive and higher quality RP server and maybe find a place to call home when I’m looking for more immersive experience. It would also be cool to step outside of the Vanilla experience found on Wizden and encounter things that I have never experienced.
