Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I've played a ton of DnD, and my favorite character I have played as was a paladin who was frozen in time for a millennium. After searching for an amulet that promised immortality, I set off a trap in a tomb that caused me to petrify.

After roughly 1000 years, I was de-petrified by a cleric, and in their debt, I joined the party and vowed to help them achieve their goals, whilst maintaining an attitude of being a self-proclaimed god.

What made you join Funky Station?:
Well me and my buddy FanaticPlayer Have been really enjoying SS14, but we find that alot of these free-to-join / public servers tend to have a-lot of griefing and generally poor RP. I also feel like the rules of Funky Station fit my needs alot better than say Goob, or Ratbite.

Some information on the character I enjoy playing specifically in SS14:

I like to play as an IPC named Nocturne XXVI.
Nocturne was formerly a chef at a Nanotrasen deep-space outpost.
While Nocturne is a very out-of-date IPC, he frequently finds clever and unique ways to overcome his obsolete hardware, often behaving similarly to humans, by wearing radiological equipment when a human should, and other similar acts that an IPC usually does not need to do.

Nocturne has an omnipotent fascination with space stations and has spent a lot of time working in Engineering, Atmosphere, Science, and sometimes medical. While medical is not Nocturne's strong suit, he is willing to do it when it benefits the station.

Nocturne has been known to go rogue and forcibly (yes, he will break-in) repair the station's power sources, TEG, Solar, Etc, when he learns that there are no more engineers qualified to do so (Alive). This is a self-preservation system that is hard-coded into Nocturne. As an IPC, he requires power to survive, and being such ancient hardware, this code has kept him alive until now.
This code generally overrides his primary goals (however, not server rules, ofcourse).

Nocturne is close friends with another IPC, ASTR. ASTR and Nocturne have served together on multiple stations.

Nocturne is generally polite, quiet, and often more expressive than talkative; however, Nocturne is not afraid of standing his ground and will often go down in battle rather than retreat.
