Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Well I usually play as helpful folk, I haven't touched SS14 or SS in a hot minute so I am slowly getting back into learning everything. I joined recently when whitelist wasn't on and just went about as an Assistant just getting acquainted with everything so when I do play if given the chance I'll be playing mostly an Assistant to begin with and then Assistants in the corresponding departments to learn each job properly. Galeno's backstory is rather simple.
Galeno grew up in a pretty big family but he was the eldest. He always took care of his sisters and his little brother so it always was crucial for him to be protective of the ones he cares about and the people around them. Family means a lot to him even though it's obviously a difficult subject now.
Galeno is also quiet but curious, he does enjoy learning new things and meeting people and helping them out, he isn't really all that knowledgeable about how a station runs and operates but he is open to just learning from people who know better than him. It goes without saying for a curious man like him, what would scratch that itch more than working aboard a space station - which is where Galeno ended up finding himself with a whole lot to learn and a whole lot of people to meet, work with and if able, help out.
What made you join Funky Station?: Seems like one of the only whitelist servers actually oriented around roleplay so wanted to give it a shot. I played text roleplay servers on other games (mainly SAMP and Starbound) for a long, long time so I'm trying to scratch that same itch with Funky since I read good things.
