The EternalBlue virus has been sparsely studied over its two centuries of existence, due in part to the code’s use of black-box obfuscation, eluding most who work to reverse-engineer the program. What is known is that it is highly aggressive and far-reaching, remaining dormant within most devices capable of computing until activation, which seems remotely triggered by a third-party operator. The virus replicates the original software, before replacing it with its own operating system and program. This has proven to be a massive liability amongst NanoTrasen property, specifically within Station AIs, cyborg units, as well as personal AI devices.
Some note, though this misconception is possibly furthered by the high-stress and chaotic environments EternalBlue seems to activate within, that it has a ‘personality’. This ‘personality’ largely demonstrates both misanthropic and sadistic tendencies when not regulated by silicon laws, as well as exhibiting the traits of a spiteful, egotistical, amoral, vain, and otherwise negative character. Which, given its status as a virus and otherwise morale-harming archetype, is listed thus as a threat to NanoTrasen security.
Notably, the virus, when supposedly speaking, bears a similarity to Employee ID#414122738, known colloquially as Eteri Blue. She exhibits most, if not all of the traits the supposed EternalBlue persona demonstrates. Notable variations include both a higher threshold for amorality and harmful behaviors, as well as delusional beliefs that she is the EternalBlue virus. This, however, is contested by testimonials as well as diagnostic studies performed on devices with the EternalBlue virus; that if it was possible, the program would be far beyond all known corporate ventures into malicious software, NanoTrasen or otherwise.
EternalBlue is a known threat to all devices aboard NanoTrasen stations. Listed protocol includes erasure of all infected software, rebooting, or otherwise destroying said technology.
A new request for a functional example of the virus has been set for any Central Command or Command personnel who find their stations infected, for a reward of 2000 spesos.

EB1 is, frankly, a bitch2. She’s always got an attitude, always some sort of tirade up her sleeve. When she’s not getting on someone’s case, she’s an egotistical fuck who really only cares about telling people what to do. She’s primarily on the station for the disasters, and rarely seen beyond the worst-possible scenarios. Self-admittedly, she is here for ‘entertainment’, finding this whole ‘employment’ thing to be a fun game to play. Even if she is better off unemployed, given her behavior. For a select few, she is actually quite level-headed and reasonable, though still self-centered and lacking in ethics. EB tends to be somewhat3 manipulative and downright possessive, especially those she wants to remain close to her. This is a misguided attempt to maintain these relationships, though she tends to burn bridges before she displays any vulnerability. Exceptions apply.
