Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Rik Urvoson is a long haired dwarf that likes being the 'support' of the team. His personality really depends on the departmennt he's in, for example if he's a chef, he thinks of everything as food. A rat? Sliced up and fried. A weird looking hamster that looks fatty? I believe janitor John might like it buttered up. A humanoid corpse that the salvagers found? Might aswell ask about it and give cargo the organs and keep the meat. After all, the station goes on with calories and drinks, not with the weird technology science makes. He does enjoy serving bar's staff personally, specially since he could ask about the shotgun to kill a bunch more rodens...
Or if he's cargo (main role) he's chill and aloof, enjoying some chill mining session and chatting up with fellow scavengers or people who come to order stuff, or just in space, slowly coming back after a long shift floating while dreading the fact that he may or may not have forgotten the cords to safety.
Generally, he's prone to jokes, even in serious questions, and takes everything to laughter. He's been out of oxygen for a far bit too long? Why not joke about his lungs becoming vacuum to the meds after he's revived. Got shot accidentally by a security member? Bribe the clown to fill their cabins with banana peels, what could EVER go wrong with that?
He's a newbie, so he's still learning new jobs. For now he's experienced cargo technicia, salvager, janitorial, and then just a little bit of botany chef and musician. He might get distracted easily, if going around the station, ending up forgetting about coming back to his station from time to time as he chats or play GM level chess matches, where he will OBVIOUSLY win(not).
Also, since he's unexperienced, he does listen to orders and might ask too many questions around, and even get easily dragged in weird situations. For that, he also dislikes taking on commanding roles like quartermaster as he believes he wont be able to do good on those roles.
What made you join Funky Station?:
The reason i wanted to join, is that while its fun, the chaos in lowRP did start bothering me a tad too much after probably 50 hours, mostly since that chaos is unplayable and happenign almost every run, or almost nothing for 2 hours, making me deciding to cryo. Just opted to try a mediumRP server.
I chose specifically this, since i read recs that it is newbie friendly and possibly chill, and i do also suffer from social anxiety(online aswell), and try to get over it thanks to this. Im very new to rping aswell, so that adds in. For now it did help.
But that said, i'd probably switch around medium and low, since i believe both have moments where they shine.
Also, having a wider choice while waiting for a lobby to start, does help. (also sorry for the wall of text, scared to write too little and ended up writing too much i believe
