Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):

Honestly, I just like playing laid back background characters. I don't like making my characters super extravagant and outgoing! I prefer being chill with my characters.
Sometimes they'll get a little zany, though. All depends on the mood!
As for a character backstory, I usually try to go with something simple that I can build off of later! A lizardperson from a farm planet who's off to the corporate world for better or worse, A human whose escaped a terrible living situation in search of comfort and stability... It all really depends! But I generally just think of a theme and stick to it.

What made you join Funky Station?:

Saw a few videos on the game, and a lot of the comments of said videos seemed to regard this server as a welcoming community, so i thought why not give it a shot! I'm admittedly still very new to space station 14 (Though, I have dabbled a lot on 13, so I have a fair bit of experience with the mechanics themselves) and am just currently looking for a community to nest myself into.

Hi, thank you for the reply! and apologies for being a day late.

One of my characters from space station 13 was "El`Zik", who was a dark grey lizardperson who had signed up for a spacefaring job in order to escape his oppressive totalitarian home world.

His personality was pretty shaky given his background, he wouldn't trust other people easily and most regarded him as a socially anxious freak that spent most shifts quietly tending to his job, and when he did speak he'd usually do it in his own language to dissuade conversations. The few that did get to know him saw his true personality, though. He was pretty sweet under his tough exterior!
