Amos Foyle is a grizzled utility contractor who operates with a grim, mechanical pragmatism. He was originally recovered drifting in deep space inside a hardsuit of unknown origin bearing the markings of the CEV Eris. Having suffered extreme barotrauma prior to his recovery, he required the installation of heavy, Class-2 industrial cybernetic hands alongside other lifesaving measures. As a result, he is bound by an indefinite corporate servitude contract, working tirelessly across departments primarily as a Chef, Bartender, Security Officer, Engineer, or Cargo Technician to pay off his exorbitant medical debt to NanoTrasen. Outwardly, he is a perpetually exhausted, heavily tattooed veteran who treats station chaos as just another headache. Underneath, however, he harbors a stubborn, fierce loyalty to his immediate shift-mates. He strictly refuses to be converted into a cyborg upon death, demanding in his advanced directive that his remains simply be cycled out of the nearest airlock.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I originally played a lot of CEV Eris back in the day and really loved the gritty, mechanic heavy survival atmosphere it offered. Recently, I've come back to the game and spent some time on Delta-V. While Delta is great, I'm looking for a server with a slightly different vibe to establish my character. I want the mechanical depth and robust features that Funky's codebase offers, but in a grounded, welcoming MRP environment. Coming off a hiatus, Funky’s reputation for having a highly approachable, collaborative community makes it the perfect place to drop in, turn a wrench, and engage in some solid, blue-collar roleplay.
