Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Gotta make this on the spot its been a little too long, apologies if it blows usually do these things better on the fly. We're calling this guy I'm making up Derek Krueger (not to be mistaken for the Skier, totally different fella), security's only detective in the round. The guy is an extremely competent investigator, and knows exactly who, what, where, and why to look, with only one issue. He's really short and deeply insecure about it, and makes that abundantly clear in interrogations, to the point of it being seriously detrimental. He'll find himself constantly at odds with solving who dumped that body outside cargo and why it doesn't even matter dude like some women actually like short dudes plus I have a statistically longer lifespan and fit way better into shuttle pods than bigger guys so like why even bring it up. I like playing flawed characters that let me run bits, though I'm probably gonna play a bit of a blank slate character for a while if you guys let me through while I get my bearings back and read the room.
What made you join Funky Station?: It's been the better part of a decade since I did SS13 and I tried SS14 in 2021 when it was practically just a tech demo. Want to jump back in now that things are looking a lot more polished and streets are saying funky station is up there for new player experience and general quality. Also generally a fan of whitelist servers on paper, though the guys at lifeweb seem a little fucked. This place sounded nicer.
