In space station i enjoy playing simple characters that the other players can play off. Sandy old RD lady that's very motherly protective of her scientists and their safety. But will brush off other department's suspicions of my side of crew as "not giving them room to learn and make honest mistakes". I have many many years of Dungeon Master experience and enjoy boosting other people's rp other than my own
EDIT: After looking at other submisions i realised i may have not gone into enough detail on the character. My intention is not to bump, hopefully just to add a bit more.
For a character like Sandy Winters i had other small things. She had a walking cane with her always despite not need one to walk. That was because Gabe the RD player character that has mentored her as a scientist needed one to walk. So she carries one in his honor. She also, due to the respect she has for Gabe, always pictured the RD walking around with a cane, now in order for her to feel like she earned her role she holds that cane. In my eyes command always came second to Sandy, the lab was her place, and she would, to a fault, tend to prioritise it more than the rest of the station. But, being a sweet old lady, any flattery from the other departments went a long way! I had no prepared backstory, just development through playing rounds and discovering the character. For this station, if accepted, I intend to prepare the characters a bit more before hand to match other people's level of upfront work.
What made you join Funky Station?:
I am looking for a place to play that is closer to what I enjoy about this game. Even on mrp servers peoples actions are so extreme and nonsensical they force your character to have to react in a certain way to maintain your character integrity. I am looking for a place where people are more mindfull of their place in the role play eco system.
