Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Describing a doormat is always a difficult ask. Someone present, yet wholly uninteresting. Which is, in and of itself, extraordinary. That would be the eulogy, delivered by the cheapest funeral director, for Karn Mattis. A child that was born. And promptly forgotten. Not out of malice or hatred; just out of sheer boredom. His life passed, and his disinterest in anything remotely unique is what landed him a career in serial bartending.
The "I'll have the usual" of the people who'll soon be regarded as the 'regular drunks' is a boon of the dimly lit workhouse, a chance to fake a connection with someone. But the real draw of bar work was always the music. Seeing the fire in people lost in their own art gave Karn true happiness. Before long, as he always does, he thinks he'd like to be a luthier. Lost in thought, he spills a good drink down a bad shirt, and he's done. Out on the street again, and onto the next bar counter. Doesn't even mind the moving. Maybe the next one'll have a stage.
(Didn't have any specific SS14 character in mind, so I just made something up. I'm more of a character improv enjoyer, but can always buckle down at write something proper :])
What made you join Funky Station?:
LRP just isn't enough, and some friends have recommended funky as a much more refined experience.
