Reason for Ban: "NITRP x2

The admin team has noticed a pattern of you frequently going SSD for extended durations over the course of multiple rounds. Given your prior permaban regarding this behavior, this ban is permanent and unappealable"

What lead up to the ban: Due to a repeated tendency to AFK, Fluxie decided to hand me down a perma-ban without appeal. This despite me actively telling them about why I kept going SSD (having to get into periodic arguments with a elderly family member who sits on her ass all day watching AI-generated Chinese drama slop and gets frustrated over me drinking cola over the past several years), saying that if I know I'm going to get periodically interrupted I should not clock into a 2 hour round.

This despite the fact that I also said that I was actively expecting her to be asleep a bit longer today and cannot possibly try to account for when she decides to throw a shitfit over cola
of all things.

Why you should be unbanned: I am not going to be held responsible for things completely out of my hands. I cannot in good logic try to predict when she's going to throw a shitfit and plan around that, and by the time she's asleep I don't have much energy for a shift to begin with. I have been dealing with this mess for nearly a decade at this point and the only change she's had in all that time is swapping from shitty low-budget Chinese dramas who steal music from other shows and games to just outright AI-gen slop.

I was genuinely looking forward to Forky so I'm hoping some of you sympathize with this. I'm not letting this all end because of the stupidity of a stubborn old hag.

This reply is going to be frankly an extended rant on the family member who caused this bullshit in the first place.

Imagine you're just minding your own business. Quietly browsing a story or something. Then all of a sudden you have to hear blatantly shitty AI-generated audio on equally AI-generated visuals. For the better part of 16 to 18 hours. Put that every day for me, then insert the occasional shouting and ranting over minute shit like my choice of drink being Coca Cola instead of some foul-ass TCM tea that's definitely just a placebo scam.

And the ranting is all in Chinese while I only understand English.

Imagine all of that, constantly, for 8-9 years with the only change in that routine being the downgrade from "just" shitty stolen clips of low-budget Chinese dramas with equally stolen music from a Marvel film for some reason. Imagine telling the other family members you have who can communicate in Chinese to tell her to stop watching the slop, only to be told that "it's just what she prefers" and to "adapt to changing times".

All of that is what I have had to deal with. Nothing has changed, and this old hag simply does not understand that if we've gone this fucking long arguing over a drink, that maybe it's high time to give up and let me be. And that's before going into her other beliefs embodying just about everything I hate about modern society. Closed off puritan moral superiority bullshit basef in Buddhism that is also hypocritical.

I'm not losing what I have here because of someone else's idiocy, especially not some hag who thinks she's correct in everything simply because she's old. No fucking chance.

There will not be a vote on this, because I have explicitly told my team that if you fell into this behavior again I would not tolerate it. I had already let you return on a voucher, and yet despite this nothing changed.

I apologize that you are having such difficulty with a family member, but with that being said, this has been a repeated issue for months. At some point the responsibility lies within you to not join a round if you cannot play it or pay attention, or figure out a way you can play rounds without going afk for 10-15 minutes, moving or talking once or twice, and rinse repeating this. This game relies on people interacting and roleplaying, especially when you are in Command. You are actively sabotaging players by your behavior, and we have had many ahelps concerned with how you engage.

While it seems unfair to you, it is unfair to the rest of the community too. And I have been more than lenient trying to let you prove to me this issue could be resolved. I hope you can find yourself a community to play in, but it will not be with us.
