Event idea: NT budget cuts leads to the death of hundreds.

Post by Twist »

the shift has started, everyone is gathering their things, the captain takes up their disk for nuclear bomb stashed in the vault. as they head out they make a short stop to said vault to grab the extra pinpointer and.....

its gone....

the nuclear bomb is gone....

shortly after command finds out and goes on high alert, CC sends out an announcement.

"we hear the worries of command about the nukes disappearence. do not be afraid! it is secured in an offsite NT storage area. you see the price rates for these low yield nukes were supposed to destroy the entire station but in most cases are unable to. so we will be returning and getting a new set of higher yield nukes that will be replaced within 3 buisness months! sorry we forgot to inform you of this change but im sure this is fine! we are saving budget after all!"

shortly after this another announcement from the sydnicate high command will ring out:
"speaking of budget cuts. did you know its more profitable for us to take your station with 100 riflemen than with 5 highley equipped operatives to destroy one?"

and with this the station is invaded by an army of rifleman. they wont have any fancy gear. you could give them the same guns that sec has. the main point is that its a wave defense for the crew to hopefully survive. the main goal of the syndicate is the occupation of the station. anyone who surrenders will be used as hostages to force the station defenders to surrender or the hostages will be thrown overboard.

you could also replace the syndicate soldiers with pirates actually yeah pirates kinda fit this way mor
