Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
I have experience playing many different types of characters but I mostly enjoy playing, what I can only describe as, an amusingly cheeky, while being sometimes cowardish, certainly very overdramatic brat. To give you a further, more intimate look at this character, since the description does seem to be a bit too vague, I will present an example by emerging the character in different imaginary scenarios:
Scenario 1
- Meeting a new person:
"I'm known as Fluvius Timenis, but you may call me your majesty, human!"
He immediately tries to draw attention and provoke a reaction from them. - They ignore him:
"Hey, hey! You can't just ignore me! That's... that's a crime! Um... against... against..." He immediately loses in confidence, his brovado crumbling: "Just look at me when I'm speaking!"
3.1 They continue to ignore him: He doesn't push further, just attends to his duties as a crewmember. But he may grumble! Quietly.
3.2 They respond and crush his facade: "You... you... You're just mean, okay?!"
But in this way, they may gain his respect, depending on the circumstances.
Scenario 2
- Someone compliments him:
"Tch! Well of course I'm great! Did it really took you so long to realize that?"
He presents an outward image of slight bitterness and vanity, but may show gratitude in subtle details, such as preferring the company of that person or even defending and more actively helping them, albeit begrudgingly.
Scenario 3
- Speaking to a higher-up – much less provocative, but still subtly and undeniably himself:
"Yeah, yeah, I'll do it, I'll do it..."
Then, mumbling to himself:
"Someone has to get something done here after all..."
