Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): Career manager called Richard Barnes who is a bit of a stickler for SOP and Space Law. The extremely flimsy backstory is that he got a career boost because his dad spied on TSF for Nanotrasen. He dreams of a promotion to central command, but he doesn't play enough office politics to actually get it. He's not really that fleshed out, to be quite honest. More an alter ego of me (living the dream of actually achieving something).
What made you join Funky Station?: Watched a video recommending it, seems to be in line with my relatively low chaos preference and population seems to be good.
