Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!): One of my favorite D&D characters is named Vael Starshine. He's a star elf mage (mechanically a combination of Beguiler, Ur-Priest and Mystic Theurge) I made back in 3.5 edition. Arguably the character I achieved the most with, as he became a political figure of importance and eventually participated in a regicidal plot, after which he became the defacto ruler of the kingdom where that campaign was taking place in. Chose this D&D character because this'd be my first SS14 experience.
What made you join Funky Station?: My partner joined and seemed to have fun, so I figured I'd follow her in.
