Briefly describe the background and/or personality of a character you enjoy playing (Can be SS14, DND, or a character you just made up!):
Currently i have one character i mostly play, and a couple others that i play sometimes.
Leon Renshaw, my most played character, a young reptilian born in space. He worked some odd jobs here and there, before deciding to enlist in the colonial marine corps. Although friendly and helpful most of the time, he isnt afraid to fight back when a situation calls for it. His work ethic is questionable at best, being easilly distracted during periods of downtime, often going for drinks with friends, or keeping himself busy with other activties.
Nishi-Mura, a well mannered reptilian with a strong sense of honor. They hail from a colony within the three suns empire and previously served in the royal marine corps. They more strongly believe in following a set of rules or a code of honor, they're unlikely to start a fight, though they wont be as willing to surrender or retreat if they do wind up in one.
Gunther AW malyutka, an artificially grown soldier stemming from the SPP. Unwaveringly Loyal to his country, Gunther is more than willing to die for any order he is given. Made to be a nearly perfect solider, his emotions are minimal, and he speaks in a direct, but polite way. He values the efficiency and completion of his current mission above all else.
What made you join Funky Station?:
The main reasonings i have for joining funky station is several friends playing on it and recommending it to me, and the fact that it is a MRP goob fork. I used to play on goobstation a bit and quite like the content it brings, however, my main point of contention with goob is its NRP culture. Thus, funky seems to me like a fork with the content i like AND a slightly more roleplay oriented culture. Having also played it a little bit during the new player weekends, it seemed quite fun.
