Iris Silktongue is a gentle, soft-spoken moth from a small farming settlement, where she grew up helping care for others in a close-knit community. Though life there was quiet and familiar, she always found herself drawn to the stars, watching ships pass overhead and wondering what lay beyond. Eventually, curiosity outweighed comfort, and she left home to explore, hoping to learn as much as she could and find a place where she truly belongs.
On station, Iris gravitates toward medbay, driven by a strong caretaker instinct and a genuine desire to help. She struggles under pressure and finds it hard to say no, often taking on more than she can handle - sometimes leading to chaotic situations as she tries to help everyone at once. Still, she’s eager to learn and frequently wanders into other departments to pick up new skills, believing that the more she knows, the more useful she can be.
Reason for applying:
I’m looking for a more roleplay-focused experience where character interactions and storytelling are prioritized. Funky Station seems like a more close-knit community where players are on the same page about maintaining that kind of environment, which is something I’d really like to be part of.
