If it's a boring round (or I'm playing a role where nothing happens for a while, like Librarian), I might have some YouTube slop on my second monitor. I worry about missing important sounds or whatever if I have things on too loud in the background.
I don't really listen to music much in general unless I'm in the car, to be honest.
Sometimes, really depends on what kinda round it is and how locked in I gotta be :p
I often end up listening to stuff that kinda matches the vibe of the character I'm playing, or just one of my random playlists that's a HUGE mix of things
I listen to Catch 22's "Permanent Revolution" a lot when playing the game.
My favorite song from that album is "Prologue", though sometimes
"Alma Alta" is closer to the mood I want.

I much prefer being a Staffie, but it doesn't pay well. If you see me in the Chemlab, I've been eating bread and water soup.
A friend of mine has an extensive playlist of music specifically for streaming/content creation purposes. It is sorted by 'vibes' which makes it perfect for soundtracking Spation!!
Otherwise, heaps of random stuff, game osts, hip hop, typically leaning on the chiller side
